Leeds Festival 2019 Review
Leeds festival 2019 took place between the 23rd and the 25th of august and it was a great experience , This year included some of the biggest names in modern day music such as Dave , Post Malone , Bastille,Dave,Fisher, Billie Eilish and the list goes on. This year saw around 200,000 people to see this massive line up and they where not disappointed.
The highlight from the Friday has to Bastille , especially their finale of their popular song Pompeii. This was one of the best performances of the weekend and left the crowd singing the tune out of the arena and back to their tents.
Saturday was just as good for performances with a with a selection of big names within their own genres and all representing why they are all held high within their genre. The key performances have to be Fisher , Dave, The Wombats and The 1975 . All performances drawing in huge audiences. The performance which stuck out for me was Dave who's fans chanted for him to come onto the stage, this set the mood for the performance and he did not disappoint and even at one point bringing up a member of the audience to perform a song with him.
Sunday's was the day with the biggest names on the main stage such as Billie Eilish , Twenty one pilots and post Malone with great performances, especially twenty one pilots who where joined on stage by post Malone to perform a tribute to the northern bands Oasis classic called " Don't look back in anger". This caught the audience off guard and had most of them singing along.
Over all the weekend was a great success with stages staying open form 12 pm to 7 am so there was always something on. I would highly recommend to anyone to go here and i would happily go again.
A well presented review of the festival- you managed to embed a you tube video - well done- was the video the creative media text we were asked to creative along side the review? if so maybe some editing to take it beyond just a recording-
